Frantzen Master of the Belg Str "Belgique" do solemnly, sincerely, truly swear that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs of the Collection District of New York, is a full and perfect list of all the passengers taken on board of the said Steamer at Antwerp from which port said Steamer has now arrived; and that on said list is truly designated the age, the sex, and the occupation of each of said passengers, the part of the vessel occupied by each during the passage, the country to which each belongs, and also to the country of which it is intended by each to become as inhabitant; and that said List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of said passengers who have died on said voyage, and the names and ages of those who died.

    Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 29, 2006 at St. Benedict's Catholic Church, Avon for Walter P. Zierden, 79, who died Friday. Rev Blane Wasnie, O.S.B. will officiate.  Internment will be in the St. Benedict's Parish Cemetery, Avon with full military honors provided by St. Cloud VFW Post #428. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, August 28, 2006 and also after 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Benedict's Catholic Church, Avon.  St. Benedict's Parish Prayers will be at 4:30 p.m. and the St. Cloud VFW Post #428 will conduct a ritual service at 7:00 p.m. Monday Evening at the church.
     
    Walter was born to the late Alois and Emma (Ertl) Zierden in New Munich. He was a veteran of the United States Army during the Korean Conflict from 1951-1952 in the 25th Infantry Division. He married Lorraine A. Ramacher on May 5, 1953 at Seven Dolors Catholic Church, Albany. He was employed by Cold Spring Granite and Electrolux Manu-facturing in St. Cloud.  Walter also farmed and enjoyed working outdoors and spending time at the family's cabin. Walter was a member of St. Benedict's Catholic Church and St. Cloud VFW Post #428.
     
    Walter is survived by his wife Lorraine; Children: Gerald (Diane) of Farming; Michael (Lyn) of Holt, FL; Elizabeth (Mark) Hennen of St. Cloud; Dona (Kevin) Ramler of Avon; Stephen of Backus; Shirley Zierden of Avon; Aurora Zeirden(sic) of Navarre, FL; 15 grand-children and four great-grandchildren; two sisters: Mildred Wensmann of Melrose and Ethel Nierenhausen of St. Cloud; two brothers: LeRoy Zierden of Cushing and Ervin Zierden of Melrose.
     
    Walter was preceded in death by a daughter, Jean Marie Zierden; brother Lorenz Zierden and sister, Rita Wensmann.

    Cyril Frederick "Cy" Zierden, age 70, of Buffalo died on Wednesday, December 4, 2002 in Mesa, Arizona.
     
    He was born on November 10, 1932, in St. Joseph, Minnesota, the son of Norbert & Verena Nathan Zierden.
     
    Cy graduated from Cathedral High School in St. Cloud in 1950. He honorably served his Country in The United States Army during the Korean War. On November 24, 1955, Cyril Zierden & Marian Conrad were joined in holy marriage at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring. God blessed their marriage with four children.
     
    He was employed for many years as a stone consultant in he(sic) commercial granite business, having worked twenty years at Cold Spring Granite and later owning & operating Delano Granite. Cy was a faithful member of St. Francis Catholic Church in Buffalo. He also belonged to The Buffalo Lions Club, Knights of Columbus Council #6608, The Korean Last Man Club, American Legion Post #270 in Buffalo & VFW Post #6915 in Cold Spring.
     
    Survived by his loving wife, Marian Zierden; children, Patrick (Rita) Zierden of Monticello, Pamela (Kevin) Dickson, Peggy (Richard) Fouquette & Penny (Jeff) Reetz, all of Buffalo; grandchildren, Sara & Matthew, Sara, Alisa & Robert; Christopher & Ryan; sisters, Ethelinda Keeler of Sauk Rapids & Anna (John) Lansing of St. Cloud, and many other relatives and friends.
     
    Preceded in death by his parents, Norbert & Verena Zierden and by a grandson, Todd Michael Zierden.
     
    A Memorial Mass for Cyril "Cy" Zierden will be held on Monday, December 9th at 10:30 a.m. at The Church of St. Francis in Buffalo. Father Tom Rayar will be the Celebrant for the Mass. Entombment in St. Francis Cemetery.
     
    A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 8th from 4-8 p.m. at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo. A Knights of Columbus Prayer Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Further visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday, December 9th from 9-10 a.m.
     
    Honorary Bearers will be Kevin Dickson, Rick Fouquette, Jeff Reetz, Christopher Fouquette & Ryan Fouquette, Sara Wolters & Matthew Zierden, Sara Dickson Alisa Dickson & Robert Dickson.
     
    The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo served the family.

    Rev. David Potter will officiate and burial will be at St. Peteris Lutheran Cemetery in Lester Prairie.
     
    Friends may call 4-9 p.m. Friday at Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Sauk Rapids and one hour prior to the services Saturday at the church in St. Cloud.
     
    Shirley was born in Wadena to Ervin & Ellen (Ranua) Venske. She married Michael Zierden on July 27, 1998 at Salem Lutheran Church in St. Cloud. She lived most of her life in the St. Cloud area, and the past nine years in Sauk Rapids. She was a mental health care worker at St. Michaelis Catholic Charities. She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church where she was a Stephen Minister. She was also a member of the National Alliance of Mental Illness.
     
    Survivors include her husband, Michael of Sauk Rapids; son and daughter in law, Benjamin & Jessica Venske of Waite Park; grandson, Jacob Venske of Waite Park; father, Ervin Venske of Silver Lake; sister and brothers, Rhoda Venske of Omaha, NE, Charles Venske of Waconia, and Brian Venske of Silver Lake.
     
    She was preceded in death by her mother, Ellen in May 2002.

She was the loving mother of Gregory (Iris) Weiler of Milwaukee, WI, Patty (John) Sullivan of Woodbury MN and Mary (Garry) Linn of Kimball, MN, dear grandmother of Michael (Michelle) Weiler, Stephen (Nic) Weiler, Melissa and Monica Weiler, Sean (Ruth) Sullivan, Molly (Dale) Schoonover, Bridget (Jack) Grengs, Michele (Jim) Groinus and Rick Linn, great-grandmother of 9, dear sister-in-law of Marian Daugherty.
     
    Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at St. Ambrose of Woodbury Catholic Church, 4125 Woodbury Drive at Bailey Rd. Visitation will be Tuesday one hour preceding the Mass. Internment will be at LaMoure, ND.

    Margaret Zierden attended St. Cloud Teachers College and retired from St. Paul public schools after 25 years.  She was a former volunteer at St. Luke's and Holy Spirit churches adn Dorothy Say Loaves & Fishes. She was a member of Lay Order of Carmelites.
     
    Survivors include her children, Jane Muller of Las Vegas, Peter of Galena, Ill., Katherine Kohn of Woodbury, and Ann Hanson of Lakeland; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and sister, Jean King of Sioux Falls, S.D.
     
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert in 1956; son, Karl in 1996; and one granddaughter.

    Agnes Zierden was born in New Munich to Mathias and Katherine (Fuchs) Sonnen. She married Bernard "Ben" Zierden on April 12, 1932, in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, New Munich. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, Christian Mothers, Rocori Senior Center, St. Julian Mission Group and a charter member of the VFW Auxiliary.
     
    Survivors include her son, Richard of Bloomington; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
     
    She was preceded in death by her husband on Nov. 14, 1980; and brothers and sisters, Peter, Catherine, Alice Athmann, Margery Nathe and Raymond.

    Services will be 4 p.m. Monday at St. Benedict's Monastery Chapel, St. Joseph, for Sister Agnes (Basil) Zierden, 88, who died Wednesday at St. Scholastica Convent. Burial will be in the monastery cemetery. Friends may call from 1:30 to 6 p.m. Sunday at St. Scholastica Convent and after 7 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. Monday at St. Benedict's Monastery Chapel. There will be a vigil wake prayer service at 7 p.m. Sunday at the monastery chapel in St. Joseph. Sister Agnes Zierden was born in New Munich to John and Anna (Bredeck) Zierden. She entered St. Benedict's Monastery on June 17, 1928, made her first vows July 11, 1929, and her final vows July 11, 1932.  She spent her life as a homemaker in the convents in Gilman, Wadena, Robbinsdale, Waite Park, St. Cloud, St. Benedict's Monastery and St. Scholastica Convent. She also was an assistant in the cafeteria at St. Cloud Hospital and worked in occupational therapy at St. Raphael's Home. Survivors include her brother and sister, Alex of Shawano, Wis.; and Sister Mary Monica of St. Scholastica Convent, St. Cloud. She was preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters.

    Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 2, 3007 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Anna Mae Lansing, age 69, of St. Cloud, who died Monday, January 29, 2007 at the St. Cloud Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Entombment will take place in the Assumption Cemetery mausoleum in St. Cloud.
     
    Relatives and friends may call from 4-9 p.m. on Friday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud. St. Martin de Porre Mission Group and Holy Spirit Christian Women will pray at 4 p.m. followed by Parish Prayers at 6 p.m.  Visitation will continue after 9 a.m. on Saturday at the church.
     
    Ann was born April 9, 1937 in St. Joseph to Norbert and Verena (Nathan) Zierden. She married Robert A. Bloedorn. They later divorced. She married John B. Lansing on June 9, 1973 in St. Cloud. Ann was a Registered Nurse, working at St. Gabriel's Hospital, St. Cloud Hospital, Murphy Ambulance and Country Manor and was also a Watkins Representative.  Ann also volunteered countless hours at Holy Spirit Catholic Church since 1985 as a Sacristan and in many other ministerial roles. She was a faithful member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Christian Women, St. Martin de Porre Mission Group and the Association of the Miraculous Medal.
     
    Ann enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, being at the lake, card making, campfires, prayer coffee, attending her numerous women's groups, playing canasta and reading.
     
    Ann is survived by her husband John, daughters Sandra Ann (Steve) Pfannenstein of Rockville and Susan Marie (Steve) Wenner of Woodbury, 6 grandchildren: Daniel and Megan Pfannenstein and Donald, Debbie, Michelle and Melissa Wenner.
     
    Preceding her in death are her parents, an infant grandchild, brother Cyril Zierden and sister Ethelinda Keeler.
     
    Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
